Maiden Voyage!

Took the maiden voyage on Canandaigua March 15 as I had the day off. Trolled shallow with sticks and spoons looking mainly for bows or browns. Was looking to pick up around 12:30 when a rod went off. I finally brought the beautiful brown to the net after a sluggish fight. Ended up being 24.5" and 9.5 lbs. Great fish! Enjoy the pic below!

P.S. My wife was recently saying if I catch a decent fish I should get it mounted for the wall. I have a couple deer heads, but not many fish despite fishing longer than I've hunted for. So this one is going on the wall...
