Managed to launch Lilboat with nephew Dave at the Clute park ramp about 1/4 to 7.

After a somewhat eventful launch off the trailer, :sweating: took the first troll down to the salt plant and hit 2 decent browns and 1 LL on the stickbaits and spoons.

Hit a quality LL before the plant, but busted the nephews line at the boat on a nice jump ;(

Lots of boat traffic and a slow pic on the return troll south helped make deciding to take a peak at the mud line troll on the east side.

We hit a couple quality fish during our east side troll down and back by the painted cliffs.

Dave caught his personal best LL and I had fun with a decent one on a lildiipsy

Saw some other nets move as well but not nearly the traffic as on the west.

Water was somewhat warmer/stained on the east.

Nice day to be fishing on Seneca

Thanks for the feedback guys.

The eventful launching referred due to was a wadered foot hitting the gas pedal instead of the brake while in reverse :whew: "THE OTHER WAY"

Only issues observed were 1) the splashing caused the cooper reel mounted in the back holder to get wet/freeze and 2) trying to figure out if the lilboat was actually leaking.

After that it was smooth sailing especially after it got a bit warmer.

Hope to get out again soon.

Tight lines.
