Was wondering if anyone had ideas of the best place to launch my boat around the Bronte or Hamilton beach areas? What are the rates to launch?

Bronte is a nice launch, I launch both a 20' and a 26' boat there. The launch is free and i believe that parking is around $5 or $6.

Bronte is a nice launch and I have used it a few time as one of my daughter just lived around the corner from it fro a few years. Last year they have had some theft and vandalism problem. Sounds like kids or a vendictive neighbour. Sharp stones on bunks. Lugs nuts loose and accessories stolen off trailers. So be warned but it would not stop me from going there. Over all the area is good and safe but someone seems to be targeting the launch.

Actually I just comre to think that the picture used for my avatar is from Bronte. You can see the trees in the background to see we are not far out of port.

Parking for a tow vehicle and trailer is $15 per day or you can buy a seasons pass. It used to be $3 but they got greedy last year. They have rent-a-cops their that seem to have a power trip going. But, it is a good facility with decent washrooms.

i was down there last week and the day price went up to 17
