Although it's been cold and somewhat windy the river is clearing and I was able to get a boat in a couple times. Saw the first ship go through the seaway yesterday! Did about a half pail on Tuesday and a third of a pail on Wednesday( No limit in Jefferson County) in a few hours fishing. Not great but a few waves came in. Mostly 8-10" fish and a few larger although you do have to sort through a bunch of dinks. Looking forward to some warmer weather but mother nature appears to be taking her sweet time. Icy guides are a real pain.
