Possible charter trip

Thanks for all the help and replies. This site is awesome! Unfortunately it looks as if I will have to bring my own boat again this year its not the best set up for the bigger lakes but it does work. The construction business here is slow and the funds aren't looking good for a charter trip. We fished the bar at the end of April last year and did well for being "rookies". Any suggestions on where to hit the fish at the beginning of May to the middle of May? Would probably target browns but would love to get into the salmon also. Was thinking somewhere around Wilcott but I'm not sure. I will also need a reasonable place to stay if I change areas. Any information would be appreciated.

Wilson and the bar are a good choice at that time for Salmon. Stay at 4 mile st park. Owsego for brown. Lots of camping near there. Shelkirk st park.

browns,,,lakers and walleyes come to the east end from oswego to henderson not much salmon action here that early but still great fishing

Grasshopper, i dont know where you are coming from butt rochester kicks but in the spring. Browns, lakers,(out deep) cohos, and the occasional king or more if you fish a little deeper than the beach troll. Good luck!

Mid May = The Bar...period. Kings, HoHos, Lakers, and Steelies with an occassional Brown or Atlantic thrown in for good measure
