Scramp,

My buddy was there about a week and a half ago and there was lots of pike in the Inlet. I don't think he's been since then so I don't know if the cold snap has affected them or not.

i dont think they start for a few more weeks...last year I went in early may and the pike had just finished up and the walleye were filling the creeks

Stopped in at the inlet today on our way to see some friends on the lake. Crowds of people (was a beautiful spring day) and more top of the line photography equipment than you would see in a well stocked camera shop but the only thing I saw with fins on it was one dead sunfish. Levels are up and running very clear.

Drove by last night to take my daughter to the movies and you couldn't have put another car in the parking lot both sides of the road!

I dont really thing your suppose to target pike, bass is catch and release until the season opens. Pretty sure the dec can issue tickets if the catch you targeting pike/walleye.
