How far out can you troll a Dipsy?

I see guys are trolling Dipseys with 150-200 feet out and see thats way off the chart Luhr Jensen recommends. How deep would this go using powerpro 65 lb test/ 16 lb diameter? (on my musky rod) Is this on the 0 setting (straight back) or off to the side? or is this using the smaller size 0 dipsey? Thanks in advance. BP

Now that the flees are around, you won't be using power pro without headaches. Do yourself a favor and get a wire set up. You can run divers out 350 to get to those kings around 100-110.

Gambler you are totally right. Was out this morn at Sandy and fleas were a huge problem. Only 1 26" Steelhead to speak of. I will look into a wire rig. What do you reccomend? Thanks BP

Malin 7 strand 30 lb ss wire in a 1000' spool. Wires take a lot of fish. Make sure you buy high quality swivels for your wires. I learned the hard way when I first purchased my wires. Good luck!
