copper

I want to spool my reel with copper and was wondering how to do it .Do you use a backer line and what about the leader line I will be trolling for trout ?

Depends on how big a reel your putting it on and how much copper. On A 300 copper with a bigger reel i can put 450 ft of power pro, the copper, then about 25 ft of leader. I use 30 lb leader. It all depends on what reel you use.....
