I'm considering purchasing a pair of triple planer boards, my hope is that they will not lag as far back as my twin planer boards. Anyone using the triples? Any feedback greatly appreciated. For reference I'm using Cannons and Super Skis.

Thanks/Tight lines to all!

Try big Jons otter boards. By simply moving the position of the knot in the "y" you get them to pull a lot harder. I run 400 and 500 copper on them and they pull fine. I lessen the pull in spring pulling mono and core.

Amish Outfitters boards are the hardest pulling boards you'll ever find. I have the redwood boards and they pull like crazy, supposedly their plastic boards pull even harder. I upgraded my Cicso planer reels from manual to electric this year because these boards pull so hard they are REALLY no fun to crank in by hand.
