leadcore question

How long a leader is a good length for leadcore on Lake O for trout/salmon. I was gonna use a 20 lb flouro leader but not sure how long.???????? Also what lb. leadcore is good for Salmon/trout????Thanks BP

Do not know what everyone else dose but I start out in the spring with a 80-100' of 20# mono then 10' of floro. I will flat line with that, and as the fish beat on, and start running more and more colors I just cut off the fraid stuff and end out with maybe 20-50 feet on now.

100' is a good number, but i have seen guys run 25' and do well. its all in the water clearity.
