SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Got out on the LILBOAT with capn Dan today. Very nice day out of Oswego. Calm seas and warmer temps. Started off slow for us off the harbor in the early am. Picked up and headed east mid morning in hopes of changing our luck. We found a nice pocket of warmer water and were greeted with some hungry browns.

Lots of nice quality fish this year already. Can't wait to get the BIG BOAT out next week, and put some slime in it. If ya get a chance come on up and enjoy the great Spring Inshore Fishery in Oswego.

Nice fat Browns there!!!...that first pic looks as if the fish took a goby fly. Is that a creation of your own? and did you troll it clean or with a dodger. Curious to know, as I have got some results with the fly, but haven't tried putting a paddle in front of it. Thanks for the report!

Skipper19, Wish it was our own creation..... Never tried it with a dodger but there's always a first time...

Big brown inhaled it on a lilplanar and did some good jumping.

I think the Atlantics that have been around must have trained the browns on how to get some air as they sure were feisty today.

Hook broke on the streamer when unhooking as it was burried
