Yesterday, a group of volunteers gathered next to the Genesee River to prepare the pens and get them ready to be lowered in the water. It was a small and very dedicated group of people. They worked in nasty cold, windy and rainy weather, but that did not seem to matter at all. In a few days the pens will be filled with fry and hopefully in 3 years there will be a lot of big fish coming back to the river.

Thank you volunteers for making the Rochester fishing experience a better one!!

Rolmops,

It started out pretty wet but it was an enjoyable morning working with Sam, Bulldog, ken and Rick. Seems like the same people are there each year and point the newbie's in the right direction. They had a good turn out for such a crappy day. Sorry I didn't meet you there.:beer:
