I agree with Gambel. The spros have bee working really good for me the past year or two and I believe they are cheaper. AS for size Im not sure what Im running, but when running a spoon I hate a big swivel at the end of my line.

we use sampos ball bearing ones and have had good luck with them. We use large ones at the dipsy or the flasher/ dodgers and smaller ones on the leaders to the spoons, behind the flashers or dodgers

gander and bass pro, and probably dick's have what you need, along with almost all the regular tackle shops along the lake.

20 pound mono would be the minimum for kings, most guys run 25-30 mono.

We use 25 # big game with good results.

Please use the search feature and scroll through the posts on the board, You will get a good idea of leaders, depth, distance behind the ball and so on.

Good luck and stay safe.

Now I'm confused, I run 17lb for my salmon spoons with a fluro leader. You dont need fluro leaders for salmon :?: :?: ?? Will the browns still hit with out the leader??

Ball Bearing Sampo's #3 for flasher flies, # 1 for spoons. They last a very long time. I have found the Sproos to have a weak snap compared to the Sampo's.
