Hey Dale :) HOPPY EASTER

Boat is great... weather suks.... better than the other way around I guess..??

Yes.... let me know ... when you go :)

Maybe I'll drag this gas guzzler out there someday ....

Got a prob w the kicker.. 15 hp Evenr

it putts along just fine for 15 mins... then stalls out...???

it's always been quite reliable... for river fishing.. not long trolling...

oh and my speedometer doesn't work on big boat...

trim works hard... got new thing-a-ma-jiggies on order...

at least I know how to bypass and get motor moving if need be...

dang river was too high to perch fish today...

i switched kicker to small boat and went .... turned round and came home for a nappy...

be well,

Carolyn

seems spring on top of electric starter is weak and allows starter gear to pop up into the fly wheel while running high RPMs and sparking...

got spring kit on order

15 hp Evenrude

weird weather for sure

its either the primer bulb or if its a throwable tank the internal parts are no good and you are not keep a suction....thats what happen to mine....replaced everything and the kicker back to work great....i fished 4 trip and burned 5 gallons so far.

Sounds like primer bulb problem. The ethanol in the gas eats the check balls out. Wes

I seem to remember me telling someone about this problem after he was swearing at the new (to him/us) boat for a few days  . As stated by my old man (quality time) buy yourself a new fuel line and bulb. if its not that you will have an extra when that one gives out. It shouldn't be the starter spring. If that hits the flywheel it will drive it back down to the starter, not stall the engine. Also drain the carb and check for water in the gas. The ethanol will draw in water from condensation over the temp changes.

ok will look at replacing the primer bulb/fuel line..

was out on Otisco yesterday w bigger boat... not marking many fish..

wind came from N when they said S/SW

at least we saw some nice sun.

water pretty muddy just caught small stuff and few nice bass south of causeway.

(fished there to get from wind)

but we tried all over...

i also gotta deal with the speedo not working on the bigger motor.

it has the tiny hole in the front of the lower motor, i am told is the way it reads speed.

ok... just found the air hose into the lower unit is just sitting in there..

not attached to anything...

Hmmmm, they had the lower unit opened up to replace a pump..

wonder if that has anything to do with it....

I had a similar problem on my duck boat.....I replaced the needle and seat in the carb (the tip of the needle has a rubber point on it) and off to the races again. Probably the ethanol
