My son and I took the little boat(17.5 ft Tracker Deep-V, we use on Oneida) out of Mexico Pt, headed west out into 15 fow, set the boards, and couldn't quite get the riggers down, and banged a 10 lb'er, on a Firetiger Smithwick.

Steadily picked fish with that, and Blue/white Rapala, but had 3 come on a custom spoon(s).

There were 10-12 boats working the same area, and saw nets, and folks hooked-up all over.

Had a blast with my son on board(we've fished togather since he was 6)

Planning on the same for next weekend.
