Where can I catch them?

If you know the spot to catch them, please PM me. Preferred somewhere in Rochester if it is possible. I saw youtube that bunch of people catch them in Erie Canal but not sure where it is.

This is same reason as Freshwater Drum. I really want to fishing after them.

Rock bass are all over the Erie canal. All the creeks off of Lake Ontario will get some in to spawn as soon as the Cottonwood starts to fly.

DF from shore or do u have a boat of some sort? Canadaguia lake is great for them too and can be caught from the piers or by boat. We catch tons of them while small mouth fishing there.

I used to fish for them in little sodus bay about the 1st of may. We used to have a lot of fun with them and some nice smallmouth mixed in. Small black hair jigs tipped with a fathead, ultra light rods and 4lb test. Those rockies fried up good.
