Sodus Bay

Hey guys,

Am thinking I'd like to launch out of Sodus Bay. Where is the best place to launch from and how to get there?

The only public (N/C) is on the Bay, Rt 14, Just past Arnies marine. Good launch with trailer parking across the street. Only issue is you need to cross the bay to get to the chute at the lighthouse. Next place is Sodus Bait shop just as you enter point, next to Krenzer marine. Launch charge is 10 bucks I believe and the Chute (lighthouse) is visible and close.

First time out of Sodus Bay 2 weeks ago, we were getting boat ready at the public launch and saw a few boats going past our launch so we picked up and found the launch next to the Coast guard Station. Nice Launch and right next to the chute. Not sure if its the same one Len is talking about. Just beware of the metal post at the dock that could cause some damage.
