any tips to a new guy launching at 50 point?

Hi folks!

I am new to the area and the board, I will be launching out of 50 point cons area. Any tips on where I should head, it is pretty big water to aimlessly wander, I am looking for salmon/trout and any tips, advice you have to offer, I will be using downriggers for my setup, If I could get a general direction and a depth of the fish over a depth of the water and what they are hitting on it would be greatly appreciated!

20 to 60 feet of water.........colorful stickbaits, J-13's for salmon, J-11's for others....good luck
