SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Came out of the Big Salmon, and trolled north. Nothing.

Came back across the mouth, and still nothing.

Beautiful day to be on the water!!!

Kept going south and started hitting fish near the State Park.

Only thing they'd touch was that Goby pattern.

I was flying solo, so only 2 lines in the water, but would have had Suttons off the balls if my first mate was with me. Almost ran one with some split-shot off the boards but didn't.

Wasn't a spectacular catch day, but certainly enjoyed myself. :)

Dave,

They are lighter colored tan bellys, with a brown pattern on the back/sides.

Has a very realistic, natural, look to them.

I am dumb to posting pictures, (my daughter is going to give me a tutorial) but Woody's has 'em, or did.

I grabbed the last 2, they had hanging, for a good friend of mine.

I'm sure they can get more.

is it this one, that they used to call log perch? If so, that is a great brownie stick, if not, this one is also a great brownie stick ;)

I know that browns inhale gobys, thats no secret. Of the 21 fish that we boated last fri we kept 4. The fish that we kept had fully mature allewives (7" long) and a few smelt fresh inside. If you'r fishin that dirty water, spoons with copper or copper backs produce. Good luck.

Yup.

That is what "Woodys" refered to as the goby pattern.

Oh sure, take the last 2, LOL... I ran them today, I had 2 trips today, tried them couple different times, nothen. Natural colored sticks was best, wind kicked up around 11:00 and turned them back on. did better in the afternoon..
