Hello LOU faithful! We are long time summer cottage owners and Sackets residents who finally broke down and bought a trolling rig after fishing for bass in and around Henderson all our lives and a few charters for salmon. Going for our maiden voyage May 15 out of Henderson and looking for tips on gear and locations. Simple stuff like trolling rods, line, releases, what works best; would be great. We want to go for salmon/trout Sunday and maybe in Black River Bay Monday.

Does anyone have any reports out of Black River Bay? What is the best way to troll for Walleye?
