Yes. It's not necessarily in the warmest water either. It's a "minefield" of lumber, so watch out. When you find the shade of mud that they want to hang in, with bait in it you will find a mix of species. You may have to cover water to find them but when you do ther will be a concentration in one place.

Hi Bruce, I am, since 1984, a Sportfishing charterboat captain. We do what we gotta do. My clients are happy, even if I'm not.

The lake has been under-stocked Chinook-wise for several years. Yes, holding pens are helping to offset the increased predation by resurging warm water species, exploding smelt populations, and the increased proficiency of todays Salmon angler, but it is not enough.

Did some flat-lining yesterday out of port bay. Ended up 0-1 on browns in 3 hours. The one fish hit a firetiger cleo spoon in 12 ft of water, spit the hook at the net.
