SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

The fishing off Rochester continues to be solid. Started in 80-90 ft and the picture was amazing.... Hooks around bait with streakers. We gave them a go for a while but no takers. The water was very murky. Pulled the rigs and headed off shore. We landed on a Coho / Steelie bonanza. The Orange Bomber off the boards took most of the shots with SS Acid Rain and Steelie Stomper doing some damage. The Yeck Obama spoon took a few shots also.

The steelies we caught were really nice looking fish.....Tight lines and enjoy our nice weather...

I had a good day with Capt. Ken (Off the Hook) too. Mixed bag of cohos, kings, lake, brown and rainbow trout. We caught 12 or more on a whole variety of baits. a great start to my 2011 season. :$

I can go for that kind of bite anyday. It is like the good times of rochchacha we have had in the past. Yeeeeeha. Yes it was awesome today once again matt, imagine that.

Yea Bruce...no question the Rochester fishery can hold it's own. I like the fact that we have lots of options. Good luck with the Gobblers and say hi to Shel for me.
