Proposing a 40 inch minimum for the southern tier rivers...Susky, Chenango, Tioga and Chemung.

Same 40 inch minimum for Otisco lake tigers.

We could end up with two nice trophy fisheries here in upstate. :yes: just too bad there is no movement on the statewide minimums.

Finally some common sense, it's about time.

Muskies (and tigers too) are not the put-and-take trout planted for the once a year hatchery truck chasers to go out and gather up a fish fry.

They are the apex predators, short in numbers and long in reaching maturity.

They need realistic protection.

40 inch minimum statewide limits are sorely needed and 54 inches or more on select waters.

This list is actually those changes that the DEC is CONSIDERING whether or not to even propose. Therefore public comment period is critical in determining what they continue to carry forward as a full proposal. We all need to send emails for EACH regulation we are in favor of...that means each county regulation needs a separate email from US, even if it's for the same body of water
