SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Nice productive short morning out of Sodus. Just me and one other guy. Did three brownies in tight by 6:30, then trolled north. Did nothing until we got to 180, then it was a very steady pick of lakers and steelies on top, with a few hits on 20-25 foot rigger. All small red stuff for the most part. I think a glow small stinger did a few too. The lakers were very nice quality, and we got one quality brown and one big steelie, the rest thrown back to fight another day. The water is cccccold, they were all in 44 degree water. Warmest water i found all day was 48. Friggin east wind will screw this up I am sure. Is it really the end of may? Coulda fooled me!

I heard of a few salmon in 50-90, no dice for me though.

I thought about sticking with trying to get salmon in closer but the offshore bite was way too good to leave. Shark season very soon though...
