Tuscarora State Park is where most people launch their boats.

2011-05-31_18-20-59_763.jpg

Its wide enough for two boats and is marked incoming on the left and outgoing on the right. There are also transient slips for $19 per night and a pumpout station.

There are numerous fields (some setup for some sort of ultimate frisbee game?). We take the dog there for games of fetch as well as down to the beach to swim. There are also a few piers to fish off of and a playground for the kids. The big center building has showers. The park is free up to memorial day weekend and $6 after. Free to launch to memorial day then $7.

Wilson pier heads... not always real easy to find at night or without a gps due to the lack of landmarks... but its nice and wide and protects you from the waves once you enter. Also has a nice amount of fishing area and provides some spectacular sunset walks.

Headed to Canada again this evening and hit up the fallsview casino. We definitely prefer the smaller one... But the wife does enjoy the bikini shop at fallsview... Sorry boys no pics of that event.lol.

The falls are running heavier than ive ever seen them, absolutely stunning. If you havent seen the falls or havent seen them from the canada side.... Do it! The Ny side of the falls is kinda run down... The canada side is beautiful with a good 2 miles of shops and tourist attractions.

Tomorrow looks like a blowoff day, so we'll probably hit up the canadian wineries and niagara on the lake.

Headed over to Canada again today.... first stops were along the niagara river wine trail. There are more than 15 wineries within a few miles of eachother. Canada has a wine called Ice Wine that we love. We arent big wine drinkers but ice wine is awesome... Very sweet.

We stopped at one winery we liked last year and taste tested a few wines. This place let us test for free.

Then we randomly stumbled across this one... Taste tests were $5 but the wine was very good and the $5 came off our purchase bill.

After that we went up the road to a little town called Niagara-on-the-Lake.... Awesome place. There is about a mile of little shops and restaurants.

We stopped in at one of the small bakeries and had a killer eclair and cream puff. We did a bit if shopping and then grabbed dinner at a little bistro.
