Anyone ever catch a Paddlefish out of Chautauqua or is that just getting introduced to the lake?

RE-introduced. They were native historically in the area there. Think stocking has been going for a few years to decade in the watershed...not sure about chaut specifically.

If anyone does catch one it's by accident...they are filter feeders living on microorganisms. Closed season too, if not even more stringent regs.

10,000 tigers in conesus last year,almost 3 per acre. you would think i could catch one.
