Here is a good recipe that I love. You will need:

half stick of real salted butter

a tsp of minced garlic

mrs. dash garlic and herb spice

cajun seasoning

pepper

onion powder about half tsp

foil

a whole salmon or trout fillet

Lay a big piece of foil on the top rack of your grill cut 4 slices of butter and lay on the foil. Rub half the minced garlic on the bottom of the fillet then place directly over the butter. Fold up the sides of the foil so the butter does not leak out. Sprinkle the mrs.dash, onion powder, pepper and cajun seasoning on thetop of the fillet and leave foil open then melt the rest of your butter and pour on top. Cook untill golden brown. I am sure you will love it!!

P.S. I usually add a few large chunks of wood from an apple tree to the coals or just set it directly on the rack above the flame if you have a gas grill. Any wood would work though to give it a little bit of smoke flavor.
