SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Got out with my brother on Coup's boat for a shake down last night out of Hughes. We set-up over 50 fow with a screen full of hooks! Soon after setting lines the copper takes off with a mid-teens king jumping behind the boat! 8) Coup got it about halfway back before it came unbuttoned. We had 250 ft of copper out pulling a Familiar Bite whole bait blue glow head behind a white glow spin doc. A little later we boated a couple skip kings off the riggers set 30-50 ft down with purple diehard super slims. Then, just as we made the call to pull lines with the approaching storms, we doubled up on lakers! The first came on a lemon ice on the 65 ft rigger, the second on a familiar bite sushi mirage fly run behind a white glow spin doc on the 80 ft rigger. The larger of the two was about 13 lbs:

Not too shabby for a shake-down run! We had a decent screen the entire night with fish from top to bottom and occasional bait on the bottom. The laker had two large alwifes in it along with a big 8" goby! We are hoping to get out at least once more before we head west next week for the Niagara Pro-Am.
