I've read numerous reports so far this spring under the report page. Has the weather this spring hurt your fishing overall?

So far this year fishing western/central Basin of Erie, the entire months of April/May have been lost to weather. Last year at this time we logged 11 trips and 7 2-man tickets. The water temp is still in the low 50's and should be in the low-mid 60's, and the water has been a solid chocolate milk color since ice-out. The weather is looking to finally break here... we've had rain and wind 15-25+mph 42 of the last 61 days.

At least the Great Lakes Beer supply has been good. :beer:

Mike- lots of theories of what has caused the tens of thousands of walleyes to die. To me the one that makes the most sense is a combination of constant rough seas and the vigors of spawning. The fish have spotted floating all the way east of Cleveland. Like I said though, many theories...
