SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Couldnt see the shore while we were setting up in 40 FOW because the fog was so thick. Ran flasher/flies off the riggers and the new wire/diver setup. We also ran one board all day with a deepdiving silver/red smithwich that produced the 6 browns while we were waiting for the fog to break from 40-50FOW. Around 10am we moved out to 120FOW and caught 2 rainbows off the diver 60 feet out on a 2.5 setting. Never marked another fish for a half hour and decided to move back in shallower. As soon as we hit 75FOW the wire rod starts screaming. Ended up being my first ever King, even though he was only a little over 13lbs, he was a lot of fun! Now, every chance the weather gives me to get on the big lake, im going to be there, rather than the finger lakes.

Salmon fishing is addictive. Once you catch one, you're pretty much hooked for life. Pardon the pun. :lol:
