Fished this morning with my pops, Keith (nuthin but net) and Mike (coyote ugly)in the open division of the pro-am till about 11am and ended with about 15 fish. Mostly skippers, but we did manage a teenage king, decent laker and a brown to bring to the weigh in. We ended up with 27lbs and 57pts for the 3 fish which got us 2nd place. Most of the fish were taken on any color stingrays down 30-40' in about 200-240fow. The screen looked awefull all day and the fishing really slowed down at about 10am.

Nice job. We had a ton of bites as well, no size though. Hooked all our large fish pre-fishing and all our small fish during the tourney.

Thanks guys. Too bad only 7 teams were in it. I think it's not so bad of a deal. Entry was $135. I think 1st got $450 cash + $450 merch. and we got $300 + $300 merch. Competing and having a good time with friends was a lot better than cleaning the house! Talking with the guys, it seems like thier will be more Sandy teams next year.
