Ok guys in a nut shell we had no pre-fish time so we started fishing BIG FISH fri from Hamlin Beach all the way west to the oak. We started on the DEEP down salmon in 160-280 ft of water fishing 160 down with flashers/cut bait -never moved a rod . Switched up to spin dr./whole alewives same deep set with mag spoons down deep also, again no hits. We did not see the deep 180-230++fish down there that was available week prior. Ended up fishing 30-66 ft down and keeping 2 small teen kings and threw a 10 pd.bow and 10pd. king back (that was a mistake thinking next kicker fish would be our box) ended up with small kings in that 75-95 ft of water off the flats east of the Oak.

Sat ran east to hamlin beach again to fish back west 120-180 range and slow picked kings and bows. Always watching bottom for the lakers. Once located 95-110 ft west of devils nose we picked the 2 lakers fairley quick on bottom. Decided to check some brown waters and found bait ALOT of bait inside 65 ft of water in. took awhile to pick some FULL browns in those conditions.Swung deep again for the king/bow pick BUT ONLY boxed 11 (3 browns-3-kings-3 bows -2 lakers).

Sun. same strategy we thought BUT conditions changed-unstable cooler water moved in and winds came up quick. So we decided browns first and landed 3 then went north looking to the king/bow play again mainly because boat controll was tuff on our brown program. in 95-100 ft range only took 1 king so we started picking up set to run when BIG BOW grabbed a 10 core while taking board off,

. MAN did that fish crash threw wave upon wave. With only 2 mid water silvers to show and brown plan A washed up, we went to Laker time mode. ONLY PROBLEM they moved in and up off bottom with cooler water coming in and inshore bait rising and coming out (cloud cover and 3-4 ft waves played in as well). So we decided to hit the lakers with spoons high. It worked but the size was smaller 6-8 pd "spoon chasers" Not the 16+ pd. goliath laker bottom class from day before. With that done we picked up FAST to stay away from the lakers we were seeing in our mid water set. Decided to hit deeper set of browns again & again till we boxed out 40-65 ft area .

FISHING CONDITIONS WERE OPPOSITE BOTH DAYS. Program & presentation were more important than content this tournament.

For us it was a constant change up of spoons/size & colors(we did not have any one hot color for both days). mostly 28 size & mags. (I know it is ALWAYS a spoon bite for us) :NOTE TO SELF & TEAM---work on that---

With NO-COMM it made it easier to focus on the progressions we always normaly go threw and team made quicker decisions and execution on them.

Thanks AGAIN to my team and all you guy's for the nice kudos to us. IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED.

EVERYONE who commented above I have personal memories with(NJ Pete & Matt being the newest) and thats why I enjoy the TOURNAMENTS so much.
