I've got a house full of company this weekend but couldn't resist sneaking out for a couple hours opening morning. Fished Chippewa Bay and had a nice limit by 6:30 and was home by 7:00 and there were only two people awake when I returned. 4" Senkos in close did the trick. All over 14"-18" and a mix of large and small mouths. Released an few smaller fish. Oh, and my new trolling motor doesn't arrive till Monday so I was handicapped fishing without one.

Nice job Kevin , love fishing up there. You should let the bigger ones go and eat the smaller ones 12 14 inchers. Don't get me wrong I am all for eating fish , but we need to keep the spawners .

I generally let all the bigger ones go but I had company that weekend that wanted some fish. I only had a couple hours to fish and keep what I caught for their meal. I completely agree with your advice however.
