Headed out NW of the Stoney Light wall in 140 FOW,. 69 degree surface temp and some confusing currents. We trolled around the pack and headed deep, we lost on of our fish in 155 SW of the wall but all in all we could not get her going. I would have given a testicle for a down speen and temp sensor….just kidding but it would have helped. There could have been a whale under the boat and we would have not known, for some reason the fish finder is not working over 100 FOW and gave some really strange readings and went batty when we touched the down riggers. The weather was beautiful.

We managed 1 for 4. Mags spoons and the ole green Dolphin by Siggs. One fish still has one of my spoons…..and the fluorocarbon is Gone….three in two weeks is enough, P-line floro coated is what I am going with. CPT Tom’s son got his first king but I do not think he or my daughter are hooked on fishing.

FYI: The double tuna hook idea on the flies….I have never seen hooks buried so deep in a king.
