SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Got out with my brother and dad shark hunting on Saturday. Started in 60 fow off East Bay and pointed the boat north. Went all the way east of Port Bay. Set back up over 130 fow with a good screen of bait and fish 30-40 ft down and 70-100 ft down, concentrated over 100-out to 530 fow with a blank screen and only one small steely on a purple alwife super slim slider, so decided to pull lines and run back in 120 fow. Pulled two quick lakers, one 4-5 lbs, the other pushing 8lbs both on sushi flies (lemon drop and destroyah), but we were after sharks, so we worked a bit deeper with nothing happening. As we were pulling lines to head in, we boated another steely off the destroyah sushi fly back 225 on the copper. An ok morning, but wish those kings would show up soon!! If not we're gonna have to go after steelies and browns for the Atommik Challenge next weekend... :$

Hoping to get out a few times this week... 8)
