Huntin trout took me and my niece and nephews out from the south end with some dark clouds looming over the Italy Hill around 6:00 pm. We set up around 100' on the west side just in case, with 2 wires and 2 riggers, 350' copper and a 7 color leadcore on an inline planer. Riggers were run from 30'-110', Wire divers were run from around 120' to 367' with best action just at dusk on wires at 121' and 123', and right as we set up after the drop off at 30' rigger and 150' diver. The kids had a blast and they learned by watching the others. We went 3 for 5 dropping a diver fish on the reel, and a another diver at the back of the boat. We made up for it though at dusk with Mckaela bringing in the 8 1/2 lb fish of the the diver set up with that revelator with a hammer and Logan doubled up with a 6 1/2 lb fish on the 42nd spin dr and a mirage. Just as Captain Tom predicted best bite just at dark.
