We just spent a week there with super smallmouth fishing. :inlove:

Just wondering why there isn't some chatter here of that lake. Or , is there another board somewhere?

thanks

Decked, drop down to Pike Walleyes and Muskies and you will see a little on Oneida Lake. The guys that can't catch Solmon or trout fish there for Bass. :(:rofl: . Oh, I was down there the last 5 days and got some eyes and perch, sunfish and those big fat smallmouth. ;)

You want the 'eyes, get on Oneida now.

That lake is warm top to bottom now.

Pulling fish out of 38 fow, and warm to the touch.

Jigs, sticks, harnesses, had folks with their limits this morning.

The bass guys were congregated around 113 from what we could tell.

....that and Oneida Lake isn't a Finger Lake....although it is a nice lake :o

The geograghical lay of things, makes Oneida look like the "thumb" of the finger lakes. :)

It is the thumb of the finger lakes! To catch smallies/sheepies/eyes/jack perch...drift with worms on sonars/bucktails/jig heads. Or troll worm harnesses. Or fish the shallows for largies.
