Heading up to Cape Vincent on the 11th, and was wondering if anyone is doing any good out that way? Last year at this time, the water temp was the warmest I had ever seen (68-72). And all of them were suspended waaaaay deep. Just starting to get my gear together, and was looking to see if it is following the same pattern as last year. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. You can always find fish deep but there are also plenty to be had in around docks and on the breakline 10-12'. The bite is best dawn to 9 or so and again in the afternoon when targeting these areas. Top water and plastics are a good choice. Tight lines

Thanks for the input. Last year we had real good luck with Largemouth in the bays and along the shore, it just seemed that all of the smallmouth were suspended over deep water. Couldn't get 'em to bite on anything. Quite a bit different from years past. We go around the same time every year, last year must've been an anomaly. Thanks again.
