SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

It was a great morning to go fishing, too bad the fish didn't get the memo. We set up at 50 and trolled east, no signs of fish. We turned North at Bootleggers Point. Took the Rainbow as we crossed into 50 FOW, 40 ft down on the rigger. He weighed in at 7#, 23 inches. Okay, a keeper. We continued North and crossed the 220 line. The dipsey lite up, 120 ft out. We boated a small king and released him. Turned South at 240 FOW and trolled back. No marks and no other hits.

It was a nice relaxing day on the water, although a bit more action would have been icing on the cake. Like my dad always said, "that's why they call it fishing and not catching".

Good Luck to all, and have a safe and enjoyable 4th! See ya on the water!
