Rock the boat

those waterkski and tow pleasure boats come awfully close to fishing boats near shore...

yesterday on Otisco.. I was trying to anchor nose out but the wind was doing a number on my anchoring..

I like to 'pan' fish...

I had to straighten boat WITH MOTOR..

while anchors down for a particular close boat..

but this time I followed him in,

and while his WHOLE family.. I mean kids to Grandma... were waving and saying HI!!!!!

I politely asked if he could slow down when he gets near fishing boats.. (by shore)

and explained how I had anchors down..

he was clueless and said ''Oh...... sorry...."

I stayed nice this time and things went much better..

are there regs on this??

thats the problem when they let every idiot who thinks they knows how to drive a boat on the water.....i believe everyone should take a class before they are allowed on the lake.......
