Just got back from a great time in the Mtns. Fishin was good , not great. Boated about 20 northerns up to about 9 lbs and about 25 bass up to about 19" biggest. Same old stuff worked. best being Blk senkos 4-5" rigged on 1/16 - 1/4 oz shakey style. # 5 mepps gld w blk buctail was best spinner w/ a few on a gold blk orange rattle trap & I made a point to try different things this trip. Saw the Bald eagle once . Found a few more lakes I would like to try up there someday,as I have the one I go to pretty much figured out. I urge you guys to make a trip up there if you haven't , especially if you have young ones. Lots to do & not expensive if you camp.
