We also fished the Red Cross Derby on Seneca. We started on the West side just north of Kashong Pt. and found the fish from the week before. We fished from 60 - 70 fow on Sat and ended up with 27 fish and lost at least 10. Mixed bag of small LL and decent lakers. All lakers were in the 6-8lb with 1 over 9lb that we thought wouldn't stay on the board so we released him. 95% of fish came on 1 dipsy rod with white sd/white fly set at 180 all weekend. Sat evening between 6:30 and 7:30 was one I'll never forget we caught 8 fish in an hour and lost 4. All 8 fish were 8 something on the scale and the 4 we lost were real heavy fish! All but 2 on the hot dipsey, as soon as it was set, it fired! Sunday was just a little different with the fish about 30' deeper and not as aggresive as the day before. We quit around 10:15 with 5 lakers and 6 small LL's, half of the landlocks we did not even know we had on, we were checking lines ever 15 minutes and they were there. The landlocks were on the 180 dipsey and the 45' rigger with nbk's. Fleas were not bad at all but the weeds were bad, most of them were under the water so you couldn't even see them coming. We had a good time, just wished there was a weigh in station closer to Sampson, or Geneva.

Brett I agree, there needs to be a weigh station somewhere on the north side! I would be more than happy to put together a group of volunteers for next year including myself if need be.
