Red Cross Weekend

We had a blast Saturday on the North end of Seneca. I cant think of another day when we caught so many 8lb lakers. It was my son who took first and second in the youth division last year and a co-worker Emma who loves to fish. I started out with a solid 8 that fought like a 12 and just literally straightened my hook out as it hit the net. I think our final count was six fish over 8lbs but not one that broke nine. I caught one that was exactly the same length as my 5th place fish in the national derby that was 2lb lighter. Talked to Nick (lb88) who said there was 7lb lakers on the board but it didnt seem worth the haul to probably be knocked off day two. That strong south wind crushed us day two. Boated one more over 8lbs and had one monster on a 4 color cor that I droppedout the chute on a sutton. Overall a great weekend and congrats to everyone who made the board! A great torurnament and a great cause. I'm really lookin forward to the Lou all as this will be my first.

We saw you guys out there Sunday on the east side. Did you fish mostly on that side!

Started out east and then focussed right down the middle. I was pretty sure I saw you go by. I'm assuming you were in the Lund?
