One more spiny question

I run 30 lb main line on my rigger reels. Do I need a fluro leader for the spin doctors or can I just run my regular main line to the spiny??

My understanding is that the SD/fly combo is not supposed to be really stealthy rig.

You can run mono right to the spinny with now problem. I run a mono leader from my braided line to spinny on my riggers

I don't think it matters too much, but I have to admit I do have a 10 foot floro lead on my braid and wire rods. This is so I can connect direct to a lure if need be for shallow fishing - and I don't think the extra stealth hurts any.

I run 30 pound Maxima Ultragreen on my rigger rods, run both spoons and spin docs off of them, catch fish on both and never run a leader.
