SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Inside water from 110-120' was loaded with bait and fish early, mostly skippies biting, hooked a couple decent fish in there but not exactly what we were looking for, so we headed north about 8:30 and found a better class of fish in 210-240 fow for the remainder of the morning. Ended up with a few 4-5lb kings, a few steelhead, 2 nice coho (one about 11lbs) and one decent king about 17lbs. Currents were a bit tricky to find speed, north troll and a wnw were about the best for us. Temps vaired some but nominally about 48 deg at 80' and 58 degrees at 65'. Tons of bait in the 140-170' region and scattered schools elsewhere. 200+' many fish on the screen. Great day!

Hans-

Is Lars coming into town for any of the Fall derby? We should try to pick a day and go out, Craig and I are fishing every weekend and most Monday and Tuesday evenings....

Frank,

Family day today on the beach...no fishin' hope you made it out.

Foster,

Lars will not be up for the derby this year, he will be up the first weekend in August though.

It was nice talking to you at the beach on Saturday. Didn't fish Sun. AM . NE blow didn't look too inviting.

Kevin,

Thx for stopping over as well, nice to meet new people. I agree, I was perfectly happy being home today instead of battling my favorite wind direction!
