Up at 5:30am and raining it backed off and we were on the water around 7ish. Thought the west side would be a good bet on the weeds and it was they are stacked up aound the major shoals. We picked a nice laker up before we had all the lines in but being close to a shoal could not work back thru..........washed lures after that weed were not bad but keep an EYE out for the huge pods we found ONE........ ......shut us down for a while...........I see the X4 has some of the same traits as my old SubTroll 900................if ya hit a HUGE weed pod it's always on the probe rigger ........trolled back across lots of stringers and weeds in the deep water picked up one more laker and that was it...............

i was out at 5am caught one Salmon thats it

We were out at 5 30 as well and only caught one rainbow around 9. We were fishing copper.
