Fished the west side the entire day up until weigh in for the Lou-All. We had fished the previous morning and literally pounded them. With no other good game plan and the reports of tons of weeds on the east side we stayed on good marks all morning. I could not believe how much bait and the big marks associated with them at most of my wpts. I told myself, the fish would turn and when they do we would be in a place to "fill the boat". We my wife and I plugged away all morning, had a steady pick of small rainbows and LL's. The lakers we were getting in were average. But I could see bigger ones were still there. So we didn't leave fish for fish. 11:30 some one open the buffet for a 15 min feeding frenzy. We had 4 rods go with in 1 min. 1 6lb salmon, 1 laker almost 9 and then average joes. Spoons that produced we green/glow and purples. White on green worked well on the wire.

Congrats to Chowder and Crew.

And as always Thanks Splitshot for organizing another great event.
