Tried a evening bite with Don from the camp he’s a copper puller and likes to troll with me a few times a year………..we have a stiff NW wind so I headed across got lumpier as we went. We had three riggers in the water with spoons by 5:30pm at 6:45 pm we pulled lines. We boxed 4 landlocks and a rainbow. Lost a nice landlock at the net. Also landed a small 8†rainbow and lost something heavy after about 4 cranks on the reel………all three spoons took fish best was 41’ down , 51’ and 57’ also took fish…… they were still hitting good when we left but we had a blast and it was time for two ole farts nappy………….LOL ....... even got all three rods jammed with weeds on last pass but for the most part they were not bad in the area we fished........

Nice fish indeed. I cannot wait to get back out this weekend and try again.

Good job Ed, glad someone was able to get 'em in the boat last night. We were perfecting the long distance release last night on Cayuga. Might have to take a closer look and make sure our lures have hooks on them.
