I'd like to bring my teenage grandsons up to Oswego for their first Salmon trip but it would be a afternoon and evening trip because they work mornings, is there a decent bite later in the day? any info. would be appreciated as I haven't been Salmon fishing at Oswego in10-12 years. Gary

If the fish are in the area the evening bite can be very good.

Stick it out until dark if you can.

I second what Glen says, the evening can be incredible. The last hour of light can be some of the best fishing of the day. Incredible to watch the kings just sort of rise off the bottom and turn the feed bag on. We have done many doubles and triples in the last hour of light. Good Luck, any time spent fishing with the kids is a great thing!!!!!
