got out at 6 am this morning, felt like it would be a good day with the over cast and cooler temperatures

within the first 1/2 hour I got a rip on one of my newly homemade bucktails and it felt like a nice esox-turned out to be a 6 lbs largemouth, wasnt what i was going for but it was a very nice bass and it was nice to get it on a homemade lure, lost another on a phantom jerk bait bc i forgot to check my drag and then missed another on a red october tube jigging in deeper water

Look at you tossing homemade baits! There is no turning back now Mikey boy! Crank that drag way down! Very cool that you banged a huge bass on a homemade bait! Hopefully you make baits as long as you fish. Once again- give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done!
